Our mission here at ThinkGreenRecycling is to provide an easy, stress-free recycling program aimed at minimizing the amount of everyday household waste that makes its way to local landfills.
Many of the landfills across the DFW area are filling up at a rate much faster than predicted previously.
This rapid increase in the size of landfills has a negative effect on the environment and can also cause a raise in taxes. The goal of my program is to improve the waste management strategy for our neighborhood by promoting and utilizing existing programs. I will carry out this program with the help of the organization Terra Cycle.
